The Belly Dance Jewels was formed by Irene Rimer in Miami, Florida, in 1999, with the goal of entertaining and educating audiences in the Oriental Art of Belly Dancing.  The Belly Dance Jewels of South Florida continue to perform under the direction of Deborah Rimer, member of the original Belly Dance Jewels; Irene is currently teaching Belly Dance classes in the Birmingham area.   Her Isolations techniques workshop is designed to teach the basic technique of Belly Dance by breaking the movements down in a expediate manner....thus the dancer usually learns faster with this knowledge.  The workshop has become popular...she continues to offer this workshop regularly as a basis for isolating movements in Belly Dance.  She also offers regular weekly classes.
