Founded in 2006 by Irene Rimer.  Corazon Flamenco is the only professional Flamenco and Spanish Classic Dance Company in Alabama.  It's aim is to educate audiences in the art of Flamenco and the culture of Spain, and to entertain a growing community of fans including Spaniards that have relocated to the Birmingham area in recent years due to a growing business community related to Spain.  The company's performances are sponsored by individuals and local companies with similar goals.
